1.WILL YOU TELL US HOW ONIRIC REC. GOT STARTED?
Greets! I started ONIRIC together with a mate of mine to promote the demo by NADA. After this, my friend couldn’t carry this project on so it was me alone. With a pair of balls and mostly with a lot of support and help from mates from the scene, I managed to make this idea go on and here we are, going off for our 3rd release and considering a possible 4th one.

2.HOW MAY BANDS THAT ONIRIC REC. HANDLED NOW? AND CAN YOU PLS. LIST ALL YOUR NEW RELEASES?
Right now I’m still promoting NADA, which isn’t going bad even though it’s a 200 copies limited edition – I still have some copies left in the catalogue. I’m also starting with the release of the 1st album by the brutal CRYFEMAL. This album I’ve released it together with the Portuguese label War Prod., limited to 500 copies, it’s a real maddening album! In October I’ll start to work with the devastating ERED. I’m gonna edit a MCD that will be called “The Realms of the Scorn”, technical blasphemous Black Death. I’m in negotiations with a Grind-Death band to release their first MCD… I can’t reveal names yet because it’s not closed but I assure you they’re brutal!!!! ONC01: NADA: Demo 2003 : twisted and dark black death metal (limited to 200, Cdr in slim case) 4€ ONC02: CRYFEMAL: Raising deads… buring alives!!!: Real brutal blasphemous Black Metal. (limited to 500, Cdr in slim case) 4€
ONC03: ERED: The Realms of the scorn: Hellish and devastating black death. Design by Juanjo Castellano (limited to 300, Cdr in slim case) 4€
These are my releases so far… I’m very much interested in trades!!!

3.DO YOU CRITISIZED SOME BANDS THAT WOULD LIKE TO ENTER YOUR LABEL? ANYWAY HOW CAN YOU RATE BANDS?
Since I like every style within extreme metal (black, death, grind…) I don’t rate bands in any particular way, I just have to like it, it’s not necessary to be original though some fresh air is always good to the scene. If I had to make an advertisement to search for bands like in newspapers it would be like this: Requirements: Honesty, ilussion and a good pair of balls hehehehe.

4.DOES ONRIC REC. IS OPEN FOR THE BANDS WORLD WIDE SPECIALLY HERE IN ASIA?
What I like most is to promote the scene within my own country, but of course I’m not closed to outer bands. It’s also that I get more promos from Spanish bands than from foreign coutries, it’s logical. I would love to be able to work with a band form Asia sometime, you are said to be very brutal headbangers!!!!

5. DO YOU KNOW SOME BANDS HERE IN ASIA? AND MOST SPECIALLY HERE IN PHILIPPINES?
Well man you got me on this one. I hardly know the Asian scene. Some time ago I loved Intenstine Baalism and Defiled… But I don’t even know if they keep on rocking, what can you tell me about these bands, are they still alive and kicking? Don’t know man, if anyone wants to trade material to help me know your scene better don’t hesitate to write!!!!

6.HOW’S THE RELATIONS BETWEEN BANDS AND YOUR LABELS?
It’s fucking toP, I always try to keep straight contact with my bands, Isaac (Nada) is a good mate, and we’ll be surely working together in the future. Ébola (Cryfemal) is also fucking mad about metal just like me, I talk to him almost daily and keep him updated on every news. And Shogoth (Ered) is also a good dude though we met not long ago and we’re not so close yet.

7.WHAT’S YOUR INSPIRATION IN RUNNING A LABEL?
Inspiration? Well don’t know, I just kept getting more into the scene and it was all like an evolution. First I carried my fanzine (El Ultimo Abismo) and later on the idea came up to start ONIRIC, it’s all been very fast. Of course my idea is to get and promote good bands that have not enough money, means or time to do it by themselves, to join the scene a bit more and get support from people.

8.SO YOU BASED FROM SPAIN. HOWS THE METAL SCENE THERE?
It’s a big moment for the Spanish scene, I could recommend you very good bands from here such as: Numen, Ered, Machetazo, Glut!, Daemonlord, Chamber of Shred, Scent of Death, Cryfemal, Xerión, Nada, Elffor, Barbarian Prophecies, Mydgard, Forensick, Crystal Moors, Greenfly, Velocidad Absurda and there’s a lot more I ain’t gonna name for space reasons hehe. There’s also very good zines that offer a great support to the bands. Although it can get better we’re on the right way, perhaps it’s necessary to get more union and honesty.

9.WHAT’S YOUR OPINION ABOUT THE FUCKING RIP-OFF SCUMS THAT DESTROYING THE U.G. TRADING SCENE WORLD WIDE?
Well fuck them all those knobheads!!! It’s their fucking fault that more people are not so interested in trades anymore. All that we can do is to get and track them all down!!

10.DO YOU KNOW SOME BANDS THERE THAT WOULD BE WORTH TO CHECK OUT?
Oooooooooooofff, a lotta them man! You should check all the Spanish bands I named before out… Mostly my bands hahahaha!!! Off the last promotional copies I got there’s a German band that has surprised me quite a lot, it’s called The Martyrium. Flagellum Dei from Portugal, and Morbosidad from America.

11. How can you compare the scene there in Spain to other foreign countries?
Here I must say that of no one being a prophet in their hometown, Spanish labels look more at outter bands, though this is changing little by little. But the worst thing here is to find people to make a band. For example, our band (ECLOSION) has been playing since 1999 with another name, and we still haven’t managed to record even a demo, we’ve changed drummer 3 times, currently we don’t have a real singer, the town council wants to put us off our rehearsal room.. Just by this you get the idea of how difficult it is to carry on with a extreme metal band in Spain. Keeping this in mind, I think we have an scene with many young bands, relatively speaking, that are gonna make the Spanish scene one of the strongest in the world, and if you don’t believe you can listen to the last albums by Wormed, Numen or Ered, they fucking rock!! Here I also like to comment that I miss in our escene bands of genuine old school death metal… there are many good bands of brutaldeath but it’s not the same.

12. what are the mediums that you’ll use in editing a MCD?
They’ve all had kind of the same proccess. First the bands send me their promo and if there’s anything that surprises me, I get in contact with them to see if they want to work with me. They send me the master and I myself make the copies at home. About the design I grant them complete freedom if they don’t ask me for help or advice, but I prefer them to design it themselves. I put it all in a professional printer and ready! Now I’m thinking of making some edition in professional cd, I’m contacting with cd factories and asking for prices.. Time will tell.

13.Can you pls. estimated how much do you spent money in running a label like ONI RIC RECORDS?
Hahahah, that’s a difficult question. You see, it’s only me that works in Oniric, that’s why I don’t keep any control on money, it all comes out of my pocket!!! For the moment I can assure you that it’s a lot of money put on it and very little back. One of the biggest expenses for me are the high posting taxes. I usually send many promotional cds of my bands to zines, labels, distros… And it’s there that I really have to spend money on. Further on it’s not too expensive… well, I can afford it cause I have a job, I will never be able to make a living out of Oniric, definitely.

14. I think ONIRIC RECORDS is so very underground there in Spain. So how’s the sales status of your Label in Spain?
You’re right, I guide by myself and I don’t fucking care where I can sell more or less. For instance, I don’t send promos to big magazines, but to the ones that treat me well, wether they’re big publications or small zines like mine. I neither send many catalogues and that’s why I don’t sell too much, by now everything I’m distributing is limited material and I own few copies, that’s why I don’t publicize it so much. Of course if I manage to make Oniric grow as a label editing professional cds I will have to pay more attention to this aspect, since it’s not that I want to be left down and outta money!!! If I spoke about sales you would laugh at me, hahahah, very few people buy underground material.

15.What’s your message to those metal freaks who would like to run a Label like yours?
Never give up!! At first no one pays attention to you cause it’s a new label and they don’t know you, it’s difficult to get trades and you lose quite an amount of money, there are bad moments in which after the hard work you don’t feel paid back, but the most important thing is to go on with a pair of balls and never come down.

16.END OF INTERVIEW IS HERE LAST FUCKING WORDS ARE YOURS?
Thanks a lot for this chance mate!!!! If anyone wants to get in contact with me, do it now!!! I still carry the zine El Ultimo Abismo and they can send their works for an honest promotion in Spain. Bands, distros and labels interested in collaborating with ONIRIC RECORDS write now!!!
One last message:
To guys: drink a lotta beer that makes your cock grow!!!!!!!!
To girls: drink a lotta wine that makes your boobs grow!!!!!! Hahahahahahahahhahaa See ya soon!!!!!!!!

1.)enigmatik was formed in 1996 right and you played power trash metal. so why did you intent to change your music? do you think that you’re more successful in a symphonic black metal?
Well, I guess that it was really what we had inside our minds and was the natural way to practice our art, under an ideological and musical angle. And I am sure that we are stronger in this domain.

2.)what are the influence of enigmatik?
I don’t want to mention names of bands we like. but our influences go from pagan to black metal without forgetting death heavy classical stuff, etc

3.)i think that a symphonic black metal is the one who dominates the metal scene in your country. do you agree with that. aside from black metal what kind of metal genres does your country have?
Why only in our country ??? Have you seen the international scene ?(ya! i know i only talkin’ about in your country – stone cold) Symphonic black meal bear and die as they came. In fact there is a lot of bands who tried to be symphonic and I said tried ’cause they often don’t reach… About us, we are no more a symphonic black metal band ’cause our keyboard player (eternal respects) left the band.

4.)what can you say to those bands that are underground turning into commercial band just like for example the Cradle of filth and the Dimmu Borgir?
About cradle I would say that they were excellent ’til “dusk..and her embrace” then … About dimmu what I can say is that they do not try to give always the same thing. they could have done 100 other album like “enthroned darkness triumphant” but they brought their art in other dimensions and that is respectful. Surely they are more commercial than with “For all Tid”, that I like a lot, but compared to some other bastards, the kept their integrity, even if their music is not as nderground as earlier.

5.)How did you make it to stay strong after so many bad thing happened in the band?
I Think we always believed in what we did and we have always had the will to go further with EnigmatiK. Above all we stay true with oourselves and know that things don’t fall on our heads without working and working and working.

6.)some black metal people don’t consider a symphonic black metal with female voice as a true and pure black metal. what’s your comments about that?
Well, first of all we have no more keyboards and I guess we will kick asses when we will be back in January 2003… About female vocals and synths. One thing to say FUCK OFF. I am a true black metal fan more than some can think, but, creation has no limit, we tried somthing which we found good, we did it and we don’t really care if people don’t consider it as true or not.

7.)in all of your record materials. why pale enchantress is the softest title of the band?
With Pale enchantress we tried to create something sad and dark. This song has not had a long life, About the lyrics it was a ver personal song for me that’s why it came out so soft, but very painful on a psychological angle.

8.) End of fucking interview is here. Any last words?
Thank you for your interest. Hailz to all the fans and especially to my brother Sathorias. Hysgarth(Imperial vocals and lead guitars)

PRIMAL DAWN

Comments Off on PRIMAL DAWN

1.)FUCKING HAILZ !!! HOW’S EVERYBODY IN PRIMAL DAWN?
A) Good thanks. We are all keeping well.

2.)CAN YOU PLS. TELL SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR BAND?
A) We formed in late ’99. We have released two CD’s, and our latest CD “the euthanasia program” has been recently re-released on Lithuania’s Atlantida productions as a split with Outrage from Austria.

3.)WHY DO YOU WANT TO FURTHER AWAY FROM LIMITING DEATH METAL TAG? HOW CAN YOU DESCRIBED YOUR MUSICK NOW?
A) There are too many things going on in our music now to simply describe it as death metal. It is an inaccurate description. I prefer to use the term dark, militant, extreme metal. The death metal scene of today sucks anyway. There are very few good bands these days.

4.)WHO WROTE ALL THE LYRICS IN ‘EUTHANASIA PROGRAMME’ THEY’RE ALL DIRECT TO THE POINT, SPECIALLY IN TRACK BEHOLD: THE MAN?
A) The lyrics are written by myself and John. The lyrics for out newest songs are in pretty much the same style. Darwinian, voilent, Neitszche inspired nihilism.

5.) WHAT KIND OF IDEOLOGY DOES YOUR BAND HAVE?
A) As I said above, our worldview is very darwinian and nihilistic. It is about striving towards Neitszche’s superman, reaching superiority on an individual level and leaving the expendible masses to eat your dust.

6.)IN THE ‘COLD HILLS’ TRACK IT SEEMS THAT THERE’S TO MUCH ANGER THATS COME OUT IN VOCAL STYLE AND EVEN IN THE MUSICK STYLE. IT IS MUCH AGRESSIVE THAN THE TWO TRACKS. BUT WHY IN THE ‘COLD HILLS’ TRACK?
A)It wasn’t intentionel, it was just the way the song turned out when we wrote it. Our newer stuff is more like that. Very fast and agressive, with a militant, cold atmosphere.

7.)ANYWAY WHY ‘EUTHANASIA PROGRAMME’ NAME OF YOUR CD SAMPLER. WHEN WILL BE THE FULL LENGTH ALBUM RELEASED? AND WHAT THE METAL WORLD EXPECT IN THAT?
A)It refers to forced euthanasia for useless individuals. The likes of drug addicts, criminals, sex offenders, workshy wasters etc. Basically what the song the cull is about. It is political I guess, although very idealistic. There will be another mini CD before a full length, hopefully to be recorded before the years end.

8.)HOW’S THE METAL SCENE AND THE STATUS OF YOUR BAND IN IRELAND?
A) We are known well enough in Ireland. The scene here is quite small, but dedicated. There are many great bands from here – Primordial, Abaddon Incarnate, Hexxed, Mourning Beloveth, Carnun Rising, Belinus and many others.

9.)I SAW A NAME FREDERICK WILHELM NIETZCHE THAT APPEARS IN THE BEHOLD: THE MAN LYRICS? DOES HE INVOLVED IN CREATING THE LYRICS?
A) As I said above, he is a great inspiration. The lyrics in Behold: the man are anti christian, so that quote fitted in with the theme of the song perfectely. His attacks on xtianity and morality were brilliant.

10.)Can you tell something about FREDERICK WILHELM NIETZCHE ?
A) F.W. Nietszche – german philosopher 1844 – 1900. Renowned for his attacks on xtianity and morality. Recommended reading – the antichrist, twilight of the idols, thus spoke zarathustra.

11.)HOW CAN YOU DESCRIBED PRIMAL DAWN WHEN PERFORMING ON STAGE AND ALSO THE CROWD?
A) Tight, agressive, hateful and fast. The crowd always seem to enjoy us, so I guess we must be doing something right.

12.)ARE YOU ALSO INTO OCCULT OR SOME SATANIC ORG.? IF SO HOW CAN YOU RESIST IN BELIEVING SATAN?
A) I was very much into the occult when I was younger. I am a complete athiest now. I believe in nothing. When we die we become worm food, although I met someone recently who has been practicing the occult for over 40 years and she has been an athiest all that time. It got me thinking again, not about any spiritual aspect, just about undiscovered human capabilities. It is something I may persue again. http://www.primaldawn.net

ATROPOS

Comments Off on ATROPOS

1.)How are you Hvar and the rest of the Atropos?
Great, thanks. We have a lot of work, both in the band, which makes us feel energised, and in our professional lives, which is not so cool . And you? Heheheheh

2.)How successful is the “silent touch” album? can you consider it as a big success in the band?
Of course it is! In fact, the “Silent Touch” album has never been released solely, so it’s not a success in commercial meaning. But, on the other hand, it’s been our first child, the first full-time LP recorded by ATROPOS. And from this point of view it is a success. Moreover, people really like it, though it was recorded back in 1997. Some like even better than two-years-later “Triafata”, and say it’s still powerful and fresh. So, as I said, it is a success. We appeared in the wider world thanks to “Silent Touch”, people in Poland and abroad could hear about us and listen to us for the first time. I still like “Silent…”. Of course, I would change some things now, I would play it maybe in different way, but – it’s the First-Born Child, so it’ll be perfect to me forever.

3.)Atropos has a female drummer. who decided to include a female drummer and do you think you don’t give a doubt on her skills in drums?
Well, to be honest, we HAD a female drummer. Currently we play in five-person line-up; Godless, guitarist and backing vocalist, Legion, also the guitarist, backing vocalist, who has also shown his talents in keyboards during “Triafata” session, me, Hvar, bass-player and vocalist. The new members are: Schmier, the drummer, and Sproket, on the third guitar. As you can see, we can not be a normal band if we didn’t have a girl on drums, we have three guitars. At least I don’t believe it’s normal ;))))) Back to the story of Atre. We split with her few moths ago. There was no specific decision about playing with her. We just needed a drummer, and we knew the girl. She came to our rehearsal, played and stayed. We knew how she played, and we knew how she can progress with her skills. In fact, 1996, when Atre joined the band, was the time when we used to work with women a lot, and she was no exception. She was the right person for that time, with no regard to her sex. She played with us for over 5 years, making really great progress. Now she left Warsaw, where we all live. She moved to Poznan a year ago. It’s not easy to work on a new material, when you live 300 km from each other. I know, that some other bands do so, but we did not feel comfortable with it. In addition, she drifted in another musical direction than the rest of the band. We decided to split our musical ways. But we still have some contact, we know what she’s doing, she knows about us. I think that I can say that we remain friends.

4.)This questions is for Atre. I was amazed to her because of her skills in drums and also an angelic face. how and when your fascination for metal develop. most specially in playing a drums?
Atre is not able to speak for herself. Let me try instead. When we met Atre, she just moved to Warsaw. She played drums before, in women-only blues/rock band, but she also listened to metal. Mainly it was heavy metal then, some black or death maybe. I remember her lending me the Manowar’s LPs. As I said, her way in the metal music led from heavy metal through other kind to black metal. Now Atre is dedicated to black metal, which she performs with her man, Gog . I am sorry, but I really don’t remember, why she started playing drums. She’s very strong (especially as to the personality, hehehehe), she always wanted to be different from other women. Maybe that could be a reason.

5.)Some of the songs in Triafata album has an operatic voice. whose voice is it. is it came from Atre?
We included female vocals in “Silent Touch” For that time we had worked with two singers, who appeared on the album. But none of them was Atre 😉 They were Marta and Justyna, friends of ours. We never played with them constantly. We had played only one gig with Justyna. They helped us with “Silent Touch” and then we never felt any need to use the female vocals again.

6.)All of your songs contained death and Evil. Does it reflect to the band?
Do they? Hehehehehehehehehe :))))) To be honest, I have never thought of our songs like that. Of course, the lyrics reflect our emotions, sometimes philosophy. The lyrics of “Silent Touch” were written mainly by Marta, a singer, some were created by Legion or by myself. “Silent Touch” mainly reflected our deepest feelings, emotions, were related to certain persons. They are, in my opinion, more painful than deadly or devilish. And as to “Triafata”, the lyrics, as well as the music, were obviously more aggressive, but this was the concept of the album. It was intended to be a powerful answer to the Pain which was crushing us on “Silent…”. These are less emotional, but not without emotions and not without any relation to the persons we (I mean Legion and myself, the only authors of the lyrics on “Triafata”) were involved with. From my personal point of view that period of my life was really astonishing. I felt ruined and fought for life. My lyrics written for “Triafata” expressed that fight. I think I can say the same about Legion – it was not an easy time for him. I can also admit that these lyrics contained lot more of our philosophy. But remember that we don’t think exactly the same. The lyrics express individual feelings and thoughts of the author. As to the reflection to the band, I have to stress that we are not the.. let’s say… ideologically, politically or otherwise declared band. We just play the music. We use the lyrics to adapt throats, voices as another instruments. Of course, they have their meaning, but we do not demand people to listen to them. We do not spread any philosophy. To sum up – the lyrics express only the current author’s emotions. They have never been directly meant to reflect any specific philosophy, to raise any specific issues, as Death or Evil. And we always let listeners or readers to freely interpret them for their own. An as to the music, we play metal, so our art has to be at least slightly devilish ;))))

7.)You have a great experiments in music most specially in “2cd triafata” album. The silent touch has a calm atmosphere and the triafata has an aggressive atmosphere. what can you say about that? How did it came in your mind to make a great experiment like in a “Triafata” album?
“Silent Touch has never been released separately. “Silent Touch” was recorded first, back in 1997. It reflected our emotions, way of feeling music, our inspiration for 1997. Then, in 1999, we’ve recorded “Triafata”. This was more intended music than “Silent Touch”. We wanted to cover the emotions, which fulfilled “Silent…”, with more aggression, power, speed. These were the emotions which we felt in that time and we reflected them in the music. Finally, when Apocalypse Prod. decided to release “Triafata”, we added “Silent Touch” CD to it as kind of bonus. It appeared that the unification of both LPs in one 2CD album was great idea. Now it reflects both sides of our souls and minds – powerful aggression and calm, sometimes painful emotions.

8.) In writing a lyrics or composing a song. how long it will take?
2 minutes up to 2 years, hehehehe :))) It depends on the mood, on the ideas which start all the song…. Currently, we work on our new album. And usually it takes us about a month of two rehearsals a week to complete the song. But we may always come back to them, amend something, or even decide that we stop playing it. In fact, they are never complete. They evolve, even after the session, as it was before. You can see it on the example of “Desire”, recorded on both “Silent Touch” and “Triafata”. The version from “Triafata” resulted from its evolution after “Silent Touch” session, it evolved during rehearsals, concerts… As you can see, or rather hear, our songs live their own lives, apart from us. We create independent monsters? Hehehehe :)))

9.) Anything to add?
I would like to cheer the people of the metal world, especially you, Adrian, and the maniax from Philippines. It would be real pleasure to visit your country and play for you live (but I am aware of the distance….). Apart from our own pleasure taken from the music, we play for you and because of you. Fans make sense to this music, so remain metallic! Adrian, thanks for this interview :))))) http://atropos.rockmetal.art.pl

LETHAL PRAYER

Comments Off on LETHAL PRAYER

1.0 Unholy hails !!! how’s everybody in the unholy union of Lethal Prayer ?
“Keeping ourselves busy with our jobs and the perpetual quest for a new drummer. We continue to write and rehearse despite this circumstance.”

2.0 Can you pls. tell something about Lethal Prayer?
“Lethal Prayer is a way of life for myself and becomes that as well for all who are involved in it with me. Pure sacrilegious death/black metal. It started as a song I wrote in 1985 and within 2 years became the main focus and direction of a band with extreme ideas and hatred towards humanity.”

3.0 How blasphemous you are? Aside from being a band member?
“I am a SATANISTIC-HEDONISTIC-NIHILIST”

4.0 What are the feedbacks about the 1st demo w/o the vocalist? As an instrumental band only?(correct me if i’m wrong)
“I’m not exactly sure if you are referring to the departure of Leviathan(Miklos) and his replacement or to the works we did before him ? We released nothing as a instrumental band officially, only played shows. The attitude towards Beelzebub(Dorsey)were mixed but now he is no longer a part of the band and Butcher(Scarlatelli-bassist) and I are doing all the vocals. The next release(s) should prove to have a greater dimension to the vocal structure now with the splitting of vocal patterns between us, basically per song. Although there are still songs that are exclusively performed by each of us.”

5.0 About to your solo projects. can you pls. tell something about that? Is Decaying Filth Music included there?
“Decaying Filth Music is my personal label/distro started back in 1996. The side band I have that is most active is GOATROT. It is old style black/death metal, no blast beats or guitar solos. We released 1 CDr demo(Frenetic goat worship) so far and plan on recording the next one in early 2004 with a new drummer. I also have PARAMNESIA which is solely by myself doing instrumental guitar tracks set to drum machine and samples. There is 1 release of that(Obliquitus paramnesia paradox). Then there was my involvement with WARKULT (originally Dethroned from WV). We released 1 CD(Persaverance of aggression) on Dark Horizon Records. I also recorded 2 rehearsals of MONGOLOID CHICKEN which was Asaradel from Godless(PR) and my self,(Barnyard farm blast / In chicken we speak). Back in the 80’s I was in BACKLASH(pa) and recorded the only demos(Backlash / Unleashed). I have done some recording session work too with HARVIST and SLAUGHTER HILL. I keep as active as I can.”

6.0 So you also worked w/ other several bands in almost 2 decades. From what band did you worked with?
“As stated in the above mentioned bands as well as SILENT IMAGES back in the early-mid 80’s. I was also in ACHERON back in 89/90 and recorded on the Future Release demo. I was also involved with INCANTATION as session guitarist/vocalist on the 2002 Upheaval of blasphemy tour in USA for 35 shows. There are some more things in the planning stages as well for the future with other bands and individuals.”

7.0 In the back cover of the C.D. who’s picture is it? and why is it appeared there?
“You are referring to the MCD Theosophical Decadence. That is a old photo of Charlie(you know who)looking down upon the chaos with delight.

8.0 Why is it that you have a pure hate in Xianity. Whether you came from thatreligion too. What’s your ideology in turning away your ass from Xianity?
Xianity is a repugnant self defeating religion that has become a mass plague that has infiltrated the hearts and minds of humans and needs to be eradicated as a pestilent cancer. It has thrown the world into such a state of degradation that there is no hope but total global annihilation. Only the weak in mind will follow. Lex Talionis !!”

9.0 Are you a member of some sacriligious sect or some anti-christian movement? Do you attend some rituals. If so can you pls. give some description about it ?
“I feel having to belong to anything for the sake of belonging to it or to feel comradeship is self defeating. One should stand and exist on ones own beliefs and merits. I respect highly the ideology of the late Dr. LaVey although I would not say that I am 100% in agreence with all his principles. The Temple of the vampire is another train of thought and philosophy I strongly feel akin too. I also believe ritual is a personal endeavour and greater results can be obtained in solitude. I interject these thoughts in most of my music and the mere performing of these songs is a personal form of ritual for me also. I know my own mind and am my own god.”

10.0 What’s you lyrical contents all about? and Why?
“There are varying topics but mainly within the thoughts of perdition, death, blasphemy, debauchery, nihilism. There are a few gore related songs but generally we steer away from that lyrical concept as we are not a gore band. There are more ideas and thoughts being evoked all the time and not limited to only these categories. This format of music does not need to be of the greatest poetic genius as it is more derived from the feeling of the music. The lyrics will evolve as they should but will not take on some radical political stance or anything of that nature. It’s all about hatred and apocalyptic genocide.”

11.0 Ok here is it. my demonik frend. End of interview is here. thanks for your cooperation in our FanZine. You can spit out all you want now?
“Thanks for the interview and our hellish blessings to you and your ‘zine. Keep supporting the underground and sacrilegious death metal. Kill all who oppose and praise thy self! Hail satan! (O Hell Yeah!!! – stonecold) http://www.geocities.com/lethalprayer/

ILL-NATURED

1. HOW’S THE BAND FORMATION AND WHAT’S THE ILL-NATURED MEAN TO YOU?
The band consists of me on all guitars, bass and vocals (the growling, grunting ones) and Rikard on the drums and vocals (high pitched tormented screams). ILL NATURED is to me a way of expressing my most vile imaginations and get to be all disgusting lyrically and totally true to my metal heritage. I write all of the lyrics nowadays and NO ONE can tell me to change or re-arrange them in any way to please the masses! I write them the way they are supposed to be! Some people have gotten pretty provoked by our ultra shitty sound production and anti Judeo Christian lyrics but I’m telling you, they haven’t heard nothing yet!

2. HOWS THE STATUS OF YOUR BAND IN SWEDEN?
I’m a nationalist but this is really a pretty dull country if you play our kind of stuff and are not into kissing some people’s asses! Not to many know of us here, but that’s simply cuz I haven’t really made any effort in making them! In Germany for example there is a much different attitude towards black thrashing acts like us. They embrace this stuff. Even the guys who are in bands themselves. In Sweden it’s more like; Sell your own stuff and refuse to buy others… Of course not all are like that, we’ve got some really good (bad) guys here as well!

3. ARE YOU SATISFIED TO BE AS A 2 MAN BAND ONLY OR DO YOU HAVE A PLAN TO FIND OTHER MEMBERS?
We will not get any new members. We will have a session bass player for live performances though… That’s all.

4.SO YOUR A 2 MAN BAND ONLY. CAN YOU TELL SOMETHIN ABOUT THE MIXING PROCESS OF ALL RIFFS, DRUMBEAT AND ALSO THE VOCALS? DO YOU ENCOUNTERED SOME DIFFICULTIES IN MIXING IT ALL?
I use a portable studio and a computer to mix everything down on when a recording is done. Everything flows smoothly most of the times, but it’s hard as hell to get the vocals to sound good. In fact I’m not really pleased with any of our recordings when it comes to the vocals. We are thinking of entering a studio next time cuz our stuff really deserves it you know…

5. WHY DID YOU INTEND TO BE AS A BLACK METAL(ANYWAY IS IT INTENTIONAL). WHETHER SWEDEN IS BETTER KNOWN FOR ITS GREAT DEATH METAL ACTS? WHATS YOUR COMMENT ABOUT THAT?
Our metal is definitely not Pure black metal! Rather a fine mix of thrash, death and black metal influences. It suits us and our image well. By the way, speaking of death metal, we have a split 7” coming up with Swedish Death Metallers AXIS POWERS! They play Death metal in the old school Swedish way. Watch out for this piece…

6. WHO’S IDEA IN MAKING A CARTOON/CARICATURE COVER ARTWORK IN YOUR “RETURN OF THE LUST MURDERER”?
He he he, I drew that one as a natural continuation on the previous one “Die by the axe” which was drawn by a guy called Olov Burman. The “lust murderer” has become kind of a mascot now and he is also on the cover of our newest cd-r collection released by your fellow countrymen BAKAL PROMOTION. This time put on paper by Marcus Söderlind. He’s an excellent guy!

7. what’s your main inspiration to worship satan or you just do it because your a black metal band?
We don’t “just do it” cuz we happen to be in a band like that! We have been into Devil worship/Satanism for a long time and it’s a great way of expressing it.

8.) what if one day satan turns you into a ravaging flea? what can you do then, to test how strong your beliefs to him?(just an idiot question)
I would infest the world! MoHa ha ha!

9.)end of interview is here. can you give some fucking last words to say? words only not sentence( no i’m just kidding my friend)
Alright, thanx as Hell for the interview and keep waving the banner of metal high! Buy our stuff or die by the axe! And check out our fucked up website for updates on what’s going on (http://ill-natured.cjb.net) ARMED SATANIC HAILS TO THEE! THE AXE HAS SPOKEN

1.0 How are you kevin and the rest of the Council Of The Fallen?
All is well in the Council camp. Derek is on tour with another band, Sean is in school for guitar and I’m on vacation traveling around.

2.0 How can you described your debut full length album called ‘Revealing Damnation’?
This album is a good combination of black and death metal both musically and vocally. There is also a slight thrash influence present. We pay homage to the past death metal scene with the breakdown grooves and also stay up to date with fast blast beat sections.

3.0 So you all guys at cotf had also other other bands thats why it doesn’t sure about in touring? is it the same until now. i mean to say about touring? is COTF a full time band now if it’s not how delicate the splitting time of work between Cotf and to your other band?
COTF has a problem touring because Sean and Derek both are involved with other bands and I work alot of hours at work and am only available during the winter. We also live in different states and only get together about once a year. I don’t have an other bands so Council is my full time band. We are interested in playing out, but time is a factor.

4.0 I read in your bio that your finding an appropriate artwork in your release. how is it about in finding a rigth artwork? do you hired a person or you just do it like a contest?
I initially gave two seperate covers to the label, but both were rejected by the label. After these rejections I just let the label find an artist. It was an annoying process and I still don’t understand why the others were rejected.

5.0 Can you pls. described to me the other layout of your release?
Its a basic layout with the lyrics and thanks list. Nothing too spectacular. I did definately want the lyrics printed though since I took so much time on them.

6.0 Are you guys working now for the next brutal record materials?
The next album is written and just needs to be recorded. Wewill hopefully be doing this Jan or Feb of 2003. The songs are just as brutal as the first cd and will match the intensity. No worrys.

7.0 In your demo your style of music is a pure black metal and in your ‘Revealing Damnation’ album you combined the dark forces of music of death and black metal? why is there some changes on it?
The music on the demo was pretty much, but the vocals were all black metal on the demo. We wanted the death metal vocal on the demo, but didn’t have anyone in the band that could do this. All the songs from the demo were re-recorded so the songs are the same. Death and black metal are a natural mix for me and I think this album is the best mix of both styles to date.

8.0 how is it true that when you sell your soul to satan. he will make you rich and famous? did this thing happen to you? is there some strong basis on it or is it a wide imagination only?
You don’t get famous or rich playing this style of music. Its more of a hobby and love. This whole idea is just imagination only. Even the bands on magazine covers have day jobs in extreme metal. Its keeps you grounded.

1.0 How are you clay?
Hails Adrian! I am great. Just sitting around and doing as much promotion as I can for the band. I am unable to play at the present time because I broke my foot, but hopefully it will be healed in the near future.

2.0 When will be the full lenght album of ‘Lecherous Nocturne’ released? can you pls. give some description about it?
The cd should be released sometime in January if everything goes according to plan. It will contain 6 tracks and it will be limited to 1000 copies in a digipak format. I have been sending out promos to zines that I feel represent the true Metal underground and we have been getting great responses so far. Our material is quite fast and quite technical, not technical as in Cynic or Atheist, but technical in that it is very “busy”. I have a habit of matching drum beats almost note for note with the finger movements of the guitarists. Everyone in the band has their own style of Metal they prefer so there is a little bit of everything in there. Our guitarist, Kreishloff, is a complete speed freak! If it was him doing 100%, every song would be 1000 miles an hour, haha! Our other guitarist, Chris, draws a lot of influence from the sick and twisted and doomy styles of Immolation, Autopsy, etc. and also the “thrash” style. I have heard him spit out some great thrash style riffs at practice a few times. Myself, I like it all but I grew up in the 80’s during the thrash and speed movement and that is actually the style of Metal I prefer. Our bass player is actually a guitarist primarily, but he switched to bass because we could not find a bass player anywhere in our area. His roots are in the thrash/speed movement as well. Our vocalist does a wide range of styles, from lows to ear-piercing highs to mids, etc. We are a very diverse band and hopefully the material will appeal to a wide range of Metal fans. If not, then it doesn’t really matter. We are doing what we love to do and pleasing ourselves will always come first.

3.0 So you guys are came from different bands . why did you guys decided to form a new band?
Well, the way it happened, I was approached by Jason, our vocalist, about getting together and jamming with him, Kreishloff, and this other guy that was the first bass player we had. I was a bit hesitant at first because I was playing in two other bands at the time. This was around January 1998 that they approached me. They came over and started showing me the riffs and I was really excited! I was actually glad that I agreed for them to come over. The writing style that they exhibited reminded me a lot of a band I had been in a few years earlier with Dallas from Nile. The riffs that Kreishloff wrote really challenged me to be extremely creative behind the kit. And let me say one thing, it has only gotten more insane over time! Haha! We searched endlessly for a second guitarist and we must have had who knows how many guys come over and fail miserably. We finally found Chris, who was right under our nose the entire time! That’s usually how it works, I suppose! About the time we got Chris, our bass player had been causing lots of problems for us. It finally came down to his leaving the band. There was just no way around it. So now we had no bass player. We looked around for a while and finally I got in touch with a guy from North Carolina who also had been in a band with Dallas from Nile. He came down and we settled on him, but unfortunately I don’t think his heart was ever in it 100%. Around the time we got him though, my heart wasn’t in it 100%. I was going through some odd times with my personal life and I also had recently gotten a job that required me to work massive amounts of overtime. I was just really burned out from working so much and trying to make do with my personal life that I had to leave the band at this time. This was around the end of 1999. After I was no longer in the band, they relocated to Colorado for a fresh start and that part of the story would be better told by one of the guys that actually went through it. After they moved to Colorado, I kept in touch with them now and then. Things started going sour out there and I was talking to Kreishloff one day and he was like….I am coming back, let’s rip some Metal! So I agreed because I was dying to play again. I missed it terribly and was more than anxious to get in the groove of things again. When they came back, we were still minus a bass player though. I was in touch with Chad, a friend of mine from around 11 years ago. He had been the guitarist/vocalist in a band we were in together and he was itching to play some brutal music again. Well, instead of trying to juggle 2 bands, I asked him if he would be interested in playing bass with us. He agreed and this is how we arrived at the present line-up.

4.0 You spent your time in incantation right, how did they convinced you to become a member of the Lecherous Nocturne and is there no doubt in your mind to leave a band like incantation?by the way what year did you became a member of incantation?
I was playing in Lecherous Nocturne before my time with Incantation. In the late summer of 1998, I received a phone call from John McEntee. Incantation had just finished a tour with Morbid Angel and Kyle, the drummer, was missing in action. John had gotten my number from Dallas of Nile and asked me if I was interested in coming up and trying out. They needed someone quick because they had some stuff in South America lined up. I went up there and tried out and John asked me when I could come back. So I went back the next month to begin rehearsing for the South American dates. My second show with Incantation was in front of 7, 000 screaming Metal maniacs in Santiago, Chile! After we returned, I left and came back home soon after. I never felt like I was a part of the band and of course, I would have no say in the band. No disrespect to John, but I can’t play in a band I have no say in. Plus, I was married at the time and had a young son and realistically, I could not stay in Cleveland. I was not very fond of Cleveland anyway. There was a fairly good Metal scene there, but I just did not like the city. I don’t mean to sound too negative about my time with Incantation because I am very grateful for the amazing experience. That band was always one I admired and I regard Onward to Golgotha as a true classic! I will always feel honored to have taken part in such a cult band!

5.0 How’s the feel of the whole band about the live shows with Nile, immolation, incantation, krisiun, and angelcorpse? what are the reactions of those bands about the Lecherous Nocturne music and also the crowd scene?
Until recently when we achieved the present line-up, we always had to play out with either just one guitarist or two guitarists and no bass player. Although I felt we were doing pretty good, I never felt like we were at our best. Now I feel we are using our full potential. I couldn’t ask for a better line-up in which to execute our Metal assault! We have pretty good responses from the Metal fans around here, but of course, it is quite bare in South Carolina. There are so many bands here that call themselves Metal when in fact, they are far from it! But the true Metal fans, they seem to give us a nod of approval. It just really disgusts me though when I go to Metal shows and there are kids with their baggy pants and Korn-ish hair styles. Fuck them! They should all die a horrible death!

6.0 Do you think you’ll be as successful with ‘Lecherous Nocturne’ as you were spenting your time in incantation?
Of course I would love to have Lecherous Nocturne reach the kind of status Incantation has, but I think that would be very hard to do . Incantation has such a cult status! They emerged in a time when quality death metal bands, even just death metal bands, were few and far between. Few bands are able to achieve this. To me, there haven’t been many bands that can claim that kind of status in the scene today. The cult status bands emerged in earlier times. There are just way too many bands in this day and age. Hopefully, Lecherous Nocturne will emerge as a band that will make a lasting impression on the world of true Metal!

7.0 For your own opinion and beliefs is there such things as good religion?
I am not fond of organized religion. I will say that I don’t care what religion someone is as long as they don’t push it upon me. I have my own opinions about why people choose to believe in non-existant beings, but that is another story in and of itself! I guess the only good religion is no religion!

8.0 Who are your major influences in drums?
My two favorite drummers are Dave Lombardo and Pete Sandoval. Dave was such a pioneer and listening to Slayer was the whole reason I added a second kick drum to my kit when I was younger, haha! I also love Dave’s fills. He had amazing fills on all his albums with Slayer! I admire Pete Sandoval because he has the ability to play fast and aggressive music, but keep his drum beats quite catchy. I think his most catchy playing was on the Terrorizer album. That’s what I strive to do. I want it very aggressive but catchy. I would say these two drummers are my biggest influences. I also respect and admire the work of Craig Smilowski(ex-Immolation), Alex Hernandez, Clive Burr, Nicko McBrain, Steve Asheim, Steve Flynn(ex-Atheist), Dennis the Menace(Macabre rules!), and Dave Culross, who I think is the most consistent drummer in Metal!

9.0 Are you still involved in some side projects bands?
At the moment I am not. I would like to do some stuff one day if time allows. I would like to record some raw and hateful black metal or maybe something a little more dark and doomy feeling, but Lecherous Nocturne is and will be my main priority and I hope to keep spewing forth our brand of Metal for as long as possible.

10.0 How can it be sure that ‘Lecherous Nocturne’ will strongly stay together and never split up again?
Lecherous Nocturne never really split up. The band just had to iron out its member issues and get focused and on track. We all have one common objective and that is to play Metal in an extreme fashion!! Look for the full-length in January 2003 and for anyone who would be interested in hearing us, either email me at nocturnal_lecher@yahoo.com and request a promo or go to MP3.com and search for us on there. The same 2 songs that were on the promo are on the mp3.com site. I would like to send 666 hails to Cult Mongers for doing this interview and supporting the true Metal underground!! Thanks!

1.)can you pls. give me a brief description of your New release Kult Razor?
-l- Sadistik warhailz hellbrother Adriaanne and to all Satanik readers of the mighty Cult Mongers ‘zine. I should infernally thank you for giving us a chance to vomit forth our scream of blasphemy and abhorrence through this deadly publication of yours. As for your first raging question, “Kult Razor” was released by the mighty Japanese label, Deathrash Armageddon Rex on kult 12”mlp hell-format with a limited bloody hand numbered copies of a thousand. DA Rex is just a new infernal label that pledges to support only the rawest form of Metal hellocaust. Yuki’s (Label owner) releases would definitely not meant for commercial ears so expect raw steelshredding opuses from his deadly kamp. Actually, we are the first infernal roster under his fiery belt and he needed more sons of chaos to be part of our demonik propagandas. Thus, I encourage all worthy khristormentor maniaks to summon him! This kult gem is the re-released of our raw, marysodomizing, christannihilating debut demo “Innocent Deist” with new priestkilling cover hellustration done by warbrother Erick Neyra of the migthy Peruvian blasphemous force, GOAT SEMEN.
We have another venomous extermination coming this early November (Out by the time this interview printed), the long delayed “Warmageddon” 7”ep will soon annihilate the weak masses! So prepare your ears to bleed! This time it’s our French hellbrother Shaxul and the rest of his mighty comrades from LEGION OF DEATH Rex are responsible for this mass murdering assault! KORIHOR will take no responsibility if the listeners take major ear operation or planted bomb to their local churches! All complains should be forwarded to Shaxul as he’s the main brain of this monstrous explosion.

2.)when and how did you realize that your not comfortable in the christian world?do you have some spiritual experiences?
-l- I don’t believe in spiritual bullshhits! This is one of the biggest lies the stupid religion thought to their stupid followers. There is no fucking life after death and that is the truth! I rather believe in scientific side as it has concrete evidences that is base in observations and experiments. Believing in a scripture that is more likely a story telling, fantasies or a myth is an act of a brainless assholes. My rebellion towards christianity started at the time I questioned the god existence, and not to mention the huge influence of C.Darwin’s theorem at my early age.

3.)Can you consider your beliefs in Satan a straight and strong?
-l- I have my own Satanik ideologies, II follow no rule as I believe that true evil has no boundaries. To believe in Satan as a powerful being is like believing jesus christ or the so called gods. These fucking christians created that biblical character to scare people, and to believe in him is the same as believing in that bullshit fictional scripture. Reading Satanik books is one of my fields of interest, most of their rules has something in common which is individualism. Like I said above I follow no rules, but there are some exceptions and I wouldn’t take it as a simple rule but as self-discipline to be a stronger person. The most important of these “self-discipline” I’m mentioning is don’t ever lie to yourself! The sole reason why I still exist in this round shit we called earth is because I still have something to prove to myself and myself alone. I trusted no one aside from me and myself is my true comrade and my own god! Defining Satan as a symbol or representation of lust, death, wickedness etc. is like defining myself. As simple as that, Its very basic, I represented Satan thus I worship Satan!!!

4.)Do you believe that time will come Heaven will turn to dust.what’s your comments about that?
-l- If you mean the literal meaning of Heaven as the paradise for the sinless, I don’t believe that it will turn to dust as it never exist and will never fucking exist! But to define heaven as a symbol of purity, it would definitely ruined and totally vanished! The time would tell that.. The modern technology would be the biggest influence for this great wonderful event.. How great it’s to live in a world where no one has been controlled by his or her stupid faith! That will come soon!

5.)being as a satanist is to blaspheme the christian world. for you how blasphemous is korihor in terms of your music and into your real life?
-l- The musical (if its right to call iit that way) side of KORIHOR has a war, raging, violent, aggressive and a raw hell-concept, we wouldn’t slow down for the sake of being melancholic shit.. It’s the perfect forceful hymn to backup our hellish lines. The grandeur of our blasphemy can be found in our lines of torments. It’s up to you deciding the intensity of our eternal war against the khristendom! It’s like a nuclear bomb being dropped in the heart of Vatican! Each army in our demonik platoon practices our infernal lyrics. We have our own world, we don’t belong to the society…Our eternal hatred towards the bullshit christianism is always on fire!! We cursed christian pigs!! Personally, I live in a different dimension (a blasphemous Metal dimension), I hate talking with normal people and I don’t go to social party except for Metal related gathering.. The same goes to brainless self-proclaimed metal heads, its like a torment on me to hear their ridiculous principles and bullshit taste.. I fucking hate this country as I’m surrounded with mega-tons of posers and feeble christians!!!

6.)what’s your lyrics all about? does it relate to every members of korihor?
-l- I guess we briefly covered it abovee.. Just to ad some points.. Actually, there are two morbid lyricist writing the warkoholik propagandas, I and Abhor (axe of torment).. Our lines of savagery has different approach, it depends on our christmutilating mood.. Abhors style is more likely a poetic type, that deals with blasphemy and personal stuff.. I couldn’t talk much about his creation as it mostly has double meanings. Mine is the in your face approach, the real things in the field of war, blasphemy and christian annihilation.. It just simply exterminates and penetrates… Just ask for the words of torment from our deadly kamp and draw your own infernal conclusion..

7.) how’s the deal between deathrash armageddon label and Korihor about the “Kult Razor” mlp?
-l- We don’t have a major deal with DEAATHRASH ARMAGEDDON and LEGION OF DEATH Rex, It’s all about fucking brotherhood!! A black blood bonding of barbarik metal maniaks!! But of course we got royalties with those venomous releases.. The sick owners of these ferocious labels knows and chose who are they dealing with!! Its about true fucking underground thing!!! They don’t signed bands just to make money, they are true underground fucking supporters that deals with more obscure hordes!! They are kult vinyl labels with limited quantity releases!! They are the underground elite and their releases is destined only for the elite!! Never contact them if you’re just asking for promo copies, instead of crying just buy it!!

8.) I know that you have also another band called Maniak. is it a side project or what? how can you described the music of Maniak?
-l- MANIAK consist of KORIHOR members tthat exekutes Sadistik Raw Old School Trashing Black Metal.. We have a Demo CD available and its probably the last one.. We established MANIAK at the time we’re having a line-up problem with KORIHOR. But at this demonik period, we’ll put MANIAK on ice, as the deadly Satanik battalion of KORIHOR is ready to explode with a new front man, which we’ll announce soon.

9.)Ok here is the end of this fucking interview, darkest thanks of Cult Mongers zine is yours. Any blasphemous words to say?
-l- Unholy Fuckrist!! That’s it? Anywayy, It’s a great pleasure to be featured on the hell-pages of the infamous CULT MONGERS ‘zine!! Keep doing this anti-khristian activity of yours and always distance yourself from the trend, christians, filipinocrabmentalitybullshit, open-minded assholes, brainless self-proclaimed metalheads, pretenders, fucking commercialism, posers and normal people!! The true underground is the law!!! Debut album will be recorded early next year so expect our bulletblazing debut album very soon!!! We also have a new vocalist, thus expect more monstrous, savage, notorious black blood vomit of atomic wrath!!!!

Helleastern brother, Obispo
